Meet the Team
Josh Ross
Owner
Josh loves to share the gift of music with others. He ensures that students receive world-class instruction while having fun throughout the entire process. Josh receives ongoing training in voice, guitar, piano and teaching, which empowers him to continually deliver fresh, top-notch instruction to his students and staff.
Josh Ross founded the J-RO School of Music to empower students to make their musical dreams a reality. He currently lives in Troy, Michigan with his wife, Lea.

Josh Has:
- Helped hundreds of students to become confident musicians, some of whom have become full-time professional musicians and teachers
- Performed throughout Michigan, the U.S., and internationally in Mexico, Italy, and Poland.
- Performed dueling pianos, in bands, as a solo recording artist.
- Received four Detroit Music Awards in 2017, including Best vocalist, Best instrumentalist, Best songwriter, and Best recording. You can see Josh's Youtube Videos Here
- Music Director at St. Anastasia Church in Troy.
- Plays music and DJs for wedding ceremonies and receptions

Vision: 1. To be the student-centric, results-based music school where 200 amazing students in Troy, Metro Detroit, and around the globe become the confident musicians they want to be.
2. To be the team centric, results based employer where 8-10 amazing team members live their dreams and love their lives everyday.
